It's the end of 2011 and I want to spend some time to reflect on investments opportunities I have been involved with and what we plan to invest in the upcoming year.
Well, we'll continue to invest in the tried and true of small investment properties in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. We'll purchase the beat up properties (usually REOs and Short Sales), give them some TLC and push them back out to the market for a $10K NET profit or about $250/month NET Cash Flow. We usually sell these properties to first time home buyers and investors who are looking for turn-key properties that they can raise a family or put tenants in for a cash flow.
Other types of properties that we plan to focus on will be Agricultural and Ranch Properties. The simple reason is the world's population is currently over 7 billion so the demand for food will continue to grow since commodity prices will continue to rise. Therefore, we can see that investing in commercial ranches will be a great investment for the future.
If you are still not convinced and you think I am just creating this made up doom and gloom, you should read these articles from USA Today and National Geographic about the unsustainability of our population growth:

Until Next Time...
